What kind of Photography do you specialise in?  
At HeavenlyImage Photography we specialise in Glamour, Portrait & Wedding Photography. We do both studio and location photography which means you have the choice of having a Professional Studio Shoot or a Location Shoot in your own home or at one of our preferred locations. We use lots of great locations: beachs, parks, rustic farms, cityscapes, basically anywhere with a great backdrop! 

Different subjects suit different locations. For a newborn shoot we either come to your home or you come to the studio. This means you have a comfortable private quiet environment, suitable for baby and breastfeeding mums. This makes the shoot flexible as well, because babies don't always work within a time frame ; ).  Larger family shoots are best done on location where everyone can relax, have fun and be themselves. Little ones also wont be distracted by being in a strange environment with studio lights, etc.

What is "Glamour" Photography all about?  

Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to look GLAMOUROUS! 

Angela Jolie, Brad Pitt, Brittney Spears, Madonna, Paris Hilton, Posh & Becks...... all have the 'Glamour' treatment - and you can too!

When we look at ads in magazines for perfume, makeup, skincare, what attracts us is the way the model is beautifully lit, her flawless skin, perfect shiny hair, full glossy lips, long thick lashes, and immaculate makeup.  What many people don't realise is that even the model doesn't look like that in real life. The glamourous image is a combination of professional makeup, hairstyling, lighting, photography and photo retouching. And that is exactly what we do at HeavenlyImage Photography. You have the opportunity to enjoy the 'Glamour' treatment and see just how good you really can look!
Do you have a female photographer?
Yes, our photographer Catherine is female.
Can I do a Portrait shoot without the "Glamour"?
Sure! You are welcome to do your own styling for your shoot if that is what you prefer. We do recommend having a professional makeover simply because we know the difference it makes to your photographs. If you want to look natural our professional stylists can create a "natural" look for you, whilst giving your skin that flawless look and enhancing your features. So the choice of a makeover is yours. 
When should I do a Portrait /Glamour shoot?  

Some people choose to capture milestones in their life i.e. birthdays, engagement, anniversary, pregnancy, new addition to the family, personal success, business portraits, model portfolio, acting/musician portfolio, weight-loss, graduation, etc. 

Others do a Portrait/Glamour Shoot to give photographs as gifts to their partner, parents, grandparents for birthdays, Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, etc. 

A Glamour Photography Gift Voucher is also a great gift idea. Why? Because it is something everyone would love to receive!   
Who can have a Glamour Photo Session?  
Anyone! A Glamour Session is for individuals, couples, families, sisters, friends, pregnancy, mum & daughter, and everything in between!  
I'm not used to getting my photographs taken; I wouldn't know what to do?  
If that is how you feel you are certainly not alone. Almost all of our clients say exactly the same thing. It’s not every day you do this kind of thing, so we do our best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Our studio has a very relaxed environment, and being all female we know how to do the "female bonding" thing over a bit of hairspray and mascara. By the time your make-over is complete you will feel ready to take on your photo shoot. And we don't expect you to know how to pose that is why we are the experts! Our photographer guides you through every shot, so all you have to do is follow her instructions and she'll have you looking like it all just came naturally!
So how long does it take?  
This depends on how many people are involved in the photo shoot, and whether you are having a professional makeover. A average shoot takes approximately 3 hours for the Make-Over, Photo shoot and Viewing. Add an extra hour for each additional makeover.

For newborn/baby shoots we allow up to 2 hours just for the shooting time. Add an extra hour for a make-over for mum (if desired), and an extra hour for the viewing. 
What happens at the end of the Session?  
At the completion of your shoot we download all of your photographs and set them up for viewing. The Viewing is your time to sit back, relax and enjoy looking at all your amazing photographs. Our hope is that you will be blown away by the results! The Viewing is your opportunity to choose all of the photographs you love and create your own art pieces for your home, personal use and to give to family and friends.   
What will I do with the photographs?  

Beautiful portraits enrich your home. They are your own personal artworks, and you will be proud to have them up on your wall! Not to mention your friends and family will be drawn to them.  And eventually, one day, you will pass them onto your children and these amazing photographs will become their treasure.  

There are many ways you can present your Photographs. You can have them enlarged and framed to suit every room of your home, have them printed as canvas prints, as well as having them in your very own album or glossy Coffee Table Book.  
I've heard about studios that pressure you to spend a lot of money. Am I going to be pressured?  
NO! We have a no minimum spend policy, and no high-pressure selling - we promise!  
How do I pay for my order?  
During your Viewing you are required to pay at least 50% of your total order, or you can pay the full amount. This can be done using Cash, Cheque or Direct Deposit. (Sorry no EFTPOS facilities available at this time.) The remaining 50% is due upon collection of your order.  
How long until my photographs are ready?
Your ordered photographs are available approximately 4 weeks after your shoot (add an extra 2 weeks for framing or 4 weeks for the Coffee Table Book Album). Rush orders available with surcharge.  
Where can I get the Photo Session done?
You have the choice of doing the shoot in your own home, location, or our Studio at Stanhope Gardens in north-west Sydney.  
Can I give a Glamour/Portrait Session as a Gift?  
A Glamour Photo shoot is a wonderful gift idea! We have Gift Vouchers available where you choose exactly how much you would like to spend.
Which days/times can I do a Glamour Photo Shoot?  
We do Glamour Shoots 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm. Saturday sessions are usually booked out a few weeks in advance, so book as early as possible to get your desired date.
